From November 16 - December 14, 2025 receive a free holiday ornament with each brick purchase. For those purchasing a brick, a certificate will be included with the ornament to present to the receiver. Bricks will be installed in Spring 2026.
Bricks are $350 each and measure 7.5” x 3.5”, with room for three lines, with 14 characters per line (includes spaces) for your chosen message. Text will be scaled to fill the printable area. Bricks will be engraved and installed in groups of ten, and we will notify you to confirm your brick order and when the brick is in place.

What does the brick revenue support?
The revenue from this campaign will benefit our basement renovation project and general preservation efforts.
Is the brick permanent?
The brick will be on our Paul Nohr memorial sundial as long as it is in place.
Can I choose the location of my brick on the sundial?
To protect the structural integrity of the sundial, the bricks will be engraved sequentially from the top left side of the circle towards the larger of the two buildings. If you are requesting two or more bricks, you can request that they be placed together. If you have addition questions regarding placement please email anna@cincinnatiobservatory.org.
Can I give a brick as a gift?
Absolutely! there is an option for gifting a brick in both the paper and online order form.
How much space is there on each brick?
You can utilize up to 14 characters (including spaces) and 3 lines on your 7.5” x 3.5” brick.

How many bricks are available?
We have around 120 bricks available for engraving.
When will the brick be engraved?
We will engrave bricks 10 at a time. We will notify you once your brick has been engraved
