That's No Moon, It's SUPERMOON
This event has expired.
At the Cincinnati Observatory
Some Moons are closer to the Earth than others, and every 14 months we get a slightly larger Full Moon. These Supermoons make the Moon appear 14% bigger in the sky than the smallest Moon. Think you can tell the difference?
Join us for Supermoon viewing. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and set up outside on the Observatory hillside.
But don’t miss Moonrise – when the Supermoon rises above the eastern horizon at 8:39pm.
Supermoon will also feature guests in costume from a galaxy far, far away… Special thanks to the Apollo Base of Rebel Legion costuming group.
Advanced tickets: $12/adult, $7/child
Day-of tickets: $15/adult, $10/child
